Fishtail Trade Financing Platform

I worked as a backend engineer on Fishtail, a trade financing platform for a US-based startup, collaborating within a globally distributed team spanning Asia, the US, and Europe.

Communication and collaboration were conducted fully in English, with work hours aligned to US timezone to coordinate effectively with the distributed team.

• Built backend features using Node.js, Express, Prisma, and GraphQL (Apollo Server, GraphQL Yoga)
• Implemented JWT-based authentication for secure user account creation
• Integrated GCP Bucket for file storage
• Collaborated with frontend, DevOps, design, and project management teams
• Followed Agile methodology, presenting completed features every 2-week sprint
